Carl Armitage

Founder |Director

Carl began his career in military intelligence, gaining extensive experience in operational and counterintelligence settings across diverse environments. Transitioning to roles in defence intelligence and counter-terrorism, he recognised the unharnessed potential of non-traditional intelligence sources such as digital platforms and open-source data.

Moving into the private sector, Carl focused on areas like sports integrity and match-fixing, pioneering a global fraud intelligence and investigation capability. Utilising an arsenal of digital tools and techniques, he assisted sports governing bodies and law enforcement in combating global fraud and corruption.

Expanding his expertise, Carl created Espeon and applied his skills to various sectors including online brand protection, intellectual property, fraud detection and specifically counterfeit supply chain networks. He provided digital intelligence support to leading companies across sectors inluding FMCG, high-tech consumables, and pharmaceuticals.

Simultaneously, Carl developed proficiency in inetwork, systems & cyber security, offering auditing, consultancy, and implementation services to companies of all sizes. .

Throughout his career, Carl has delivered ground-breaking intelligence services to support many of the world's most prominent organsations & companies.
